What happens if I fail to request a hearing or pay the administrative fee?

If an impounded vehicle is not claimed after thirty-five (35) days it shall be deemed abandoned and will be disposed of in the manner provided by law for the disposition of abandoned vehicles as provided in section 625 ILCS 5/11-200 et seq. This shall not affect the fee due to the County of Stephenson.
